Montreal, Canada. His work is held in many national and international collections (see resume for details).

Veran's work utilizes a shamanic approach to artistic expression and includes representations of nature and peace among the peoples of our world; to promote a sense of harmony in his work. Inspiration is drawn from divergent elements in the environment allowing him to give a voice to the various aspects of nature. Combining the formal elements of painting and sculpture, Veran provides a contemporary perspective on Native culture, taking traditions of the past and re-interpreting them to provide a present-day relevance.
